The Wendiceratops is a very recent discovery and was only found a few days ago. The meaning of its name is " Wendy horned face" which is the name of a famous paleontologist named Wendy. Their is little known about this dinosaur with the discovery being so recent but what is known currently is that it may be a missing link in ceratopsian evolution and is one of the first late Cretaceous ceratopsians to appear. The brow horns are large and curve smoothly while the nose horse is small and ends in a flat edge. This nose horn may have been used like a built in shovel to dig for vegetation. Wendiceratops is astonishing discovery and may hold the secrets to ceratopsian evolution.
