The nasutoceratops is another new Dino discovery and posses some remarkable and unusual features. One of the most striking of those features are its horns, which look as if they belong to an ox or steer. The horns sweep outward and gently curve upwards giving this dinosaur its distinguishing appearance. Like most other horned dinosaurs it features a large curved beak for slicing vegetation and a bony frill decorated with smaller spikes the protrude from the sides. It's exact size is still uncertain because the remains are somewhat incomplete, but it's estimated to have been about 15ft long which makes it medium sized in relation to other ceratopsian dinosaurs. Nasutoceratops lived in Utah and at the time the area was once a lush floodplain on the creatacous western interior sea way. Another interesting note that makes nasutoceratops stand out from other dinosaurs is that it's the only ceratopsian to be found in the American southwest ( with the exception of diabloceratops). The name nasutoceratops means, " large nose horned face" because of its large nasal cavities and huge brow horns. Their is still a lot left to discover about this one of a kind dinosaur.
