The dinosaur age was one of natures most extreme golden ages and with the reign of the dinosaurs came the arrival of some of natures greatest predators. Predatory dinosaurs were among some of the most fascinating hunters to ever walk the earth but some were true giants, some were even capable of taking down the biggest sauropod dinosaurs. Of all the great predators to ever roam the Spinosaurus by far was the largest of all carnivores, but surprisingly fed almost exclusively on fish. One of the biggest groups of predatory were the carnosaurs, they hosted some of the biggest predatory dinosaurs including the giganotosaurus and the carcharadontosaurus. Another famous giant killer was the tyrannosaurus rex which previously was thought to have been the biggest of meat eating dinosaurs, but now faces stiffer competition as new even bigger animals are unearthed. Giant predatory dinosaurs truly have earned themselves the title as being some of natures biggest predators.
